This is a basic how to for turning a android device into a retro machine
Download Frontend
Thier are many chooses in Frontends. Most can be found on play store . Heres a few.
- Daijishou
- Arc Browser ($8)
- Reset Collection ($5)
- DIG
- Launchbox
Download the frontend of your choose & install it.
Download & Setup Emulators
For this example we will assume you have a very high end Android device. Here are some emus we might need. Most can be found on play store .
- Retroarch (plays a bunch of systems ....like a bunch)
You will need the following in addition to Retroarch if you wanna play these systems.
- Dolphin (Gamecube & Wii. Thiers like 20 versions)
- AetherSX2 (PS2)
- Redream (Dreamcast)
Dont wanna use retroarch ? Heres a list of standalone emus.
- Pizzaboy ( gameboy)
- Sameboy (gba)

After install emus set them all up one by one .
Setup Folders & Stuff
For most frontends you need to organize your games. It doesnt really matter where or how, as long as you can access easy and remeber.
We always open main storage make a folder called Roms thier . Then inside that folder make a nes, snes, gba, gb etc .
Setup Frontend
So now that you have everything installed and setup go back into your frontend and set it up. Thier are many many videos and tutorials for setting up frontends.
Get & Add Games
So we Devils try to make this part easy lol .
Download Devils Box for android to download whole game packs . It also has tutorials setup videos stuff like that.
